Githubの学生用無料アカウント

研究

今日まで知らなかったのだが、Githubは学生であればプライベートリポジトリが無料で使える。
https://github.com/plans
ここでいうところの月7ドルMicroプランというのが無料になる。

にも書いてあったのだが、

  1. https://github.com/edu　にアクセス
  2. I'm a studentをクリック、必要事項を記入して送信（使う理由のところは英語で適当に1行ぐらい「研究に使う」とか「論文管理に使う」とかそんなのでよい）
  3. 1時間もしないうちに登録完了のメールが来る

という仕組み。以下は来たメールの引用。なんでかわらかんけど、利用期限は2年ということになっている模様（マスターの学生と書いたからかも）。2年経過したら再申請してみる。
